You show up on Sunday mornings wearing a suit and a smile.
Beneath the polished exterior, you’re carrying inner scars.
Pretending you have everything under control is exhausting. You don’t drop the act until the door shuts to your bedroom after the service as you untie the tie and hang your suit back up in the closet.
I’ve faced my share of challenges.
In 2006, I went through a devastating period. My marriage fell apart. I remember that entire period as a profoundly difficult chapter of my life.
Years later, I remarried. A bit older, a bit wiser.
But then, just three years ago, a member of my family grappled with severe mental health issues and tragically attempted suicide.
Throughout these trials, I’ve relied on God’s grace to support and uplift me.
In Mark 2:17 (NASB), Jesus reminds us:
“It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”
This scripture highlights the importance of acknowledging our struggles rather than hiding them away.
As a Pastoral Counselor, I’m available as a resource to support you. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or personal tragedy, I want to share some biblical insights that may shed light on the season you’re currently navigating.
A Little About Me
Pastoral Counseling is my passion.
I hold a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, and I’m a proud member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
My focus: helping men move through trauma, and walking with couples through premarital and marriage counseling. I love assisting people on their life journey with compassion and care.
Off the Clock
Camping, deep-sea fishing, biking, rock climbing

It pains me to see so many individuals attending services with smiles and polished exteriors, masking their inner scars, pretending they have everything under control.
I want to assure you that you are not alone in your struggles. I have faced my share of challenges as well.
Throughout these trials, I have relied on God’s grace to support and uplift me.
My degree is a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. I’m a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and I offer couples assessments and marriage checkups for those in the work of marriage.
The Holy Bible is my foundation – not because it’s the tradition I inherited, but because it’s where I’ve found God meeting people in their actual broken places.
A note worth saying plainly: I’m a pastoral and biblical counselor, not a licensed mental health therapist. If I encounter a situation that calls for a licensed clinician, I will tell you honestly and point you toward the right resource.
You’ll find me camping outdoors, deep-sea fishing with the guys, biking, or rock climbing. I serve as a deacon at my church, teach Bible, and stay involved in several other ministry areas.
The first call is free. Fifteen minutes, no pressure, just a conversation.
